Gradeway Today

Below is a sample screen image of the Gradeway Today module of Gradeway Teacher's Suite.

1. Calendar
The Calendar displays the current date as it current is on your personal computer. This calendar is for quick-reference only. By changing on different dates, you will not be changing your system date. Since your system date will not change, changing the date on this Calendar will not allow you to view reminders on any other particular days.

2. Reminders
The Reminders box displays all active Reminders that have not been dismissed. This means that reminders will begin showing on a date you specify, and may display on future dates if you have not dismissed them. You may dismiss a Reminder from the Reminder Dialog or by clicking the "Remove" button when you have a Reminder highlighted.

To view a reminder, simply highlight it and click the "View Reminder" button. This will display the Reminder Dialog.

To create a new reminder, click on the "Add" button; this will display the Add New Reminder Dialog, which is very similar to the Reminder Dialog.

3. Lesson Plan Reminders
Lesson Plan Reminders are very similar to standard Reminders, and are designed to remind you which Lesson Plan(s) you plan on teaching on particular day(s). You schedule a Lesson Plan Reminder in the Lesson Plan tab, where you are also able to create and edit Lesson Plans.

To view the Lesson Plan, click the "View Lesson Plan" button after you have selected a Lesson Plan. You may remove the Lesson Plan Reminder from the Lesson Plan Viewer.

4. Gradeway Today
This portion of the screen loads Gradeway Today (http://www.gradeway.com/today.aspx) when you are connected to the Internet. Gradeway Today offers quotes, puzzles, jokes, as well as important news regarding Gradeway Teacher's Suite. This portion of Gradeway Teacher's Suite utilizes a custom Microsoft Internet Explorer and provides for full Internet access (with limitations, such no address bar, forward/back buttons, etc.)
