Gradeway Lesson Planner

The Gradeway Lesson Planner is comprised of various components allowing adding, searching, modifying, and scheduling of Lesson Plans. Below is the main Lesson Plan component in Gradeway Teacher's Suite; each topic is expanded, where needed, to display all functionality.

1. Find Lesson Plan : Search Criteria
When first opening the Lesson Planner, no Lesson Plans will be displayed. To display a Lesson Plan, select your search criteria (Lesson Subject, Name/Keyword, and Skill Level, and press the "Find Selected Plans" button. Any matching plans will then be displayed in the box to the right (2).

2. Plans Matching Search Criteria
After searching (1), all the Lesson Plans that match your specific criteria will be displayed in this List. To continue working with one of the Lesson Plans displayed, simply highlight it and click on one of the buttons (4) or (5).

3. Add New Lesson Plan
Clicking this button, regardless of any selected Lesson Plans, will display the Add New Lesson Plan wizard.

4. View Lesson Plan
When a Lesson Plan from (2) is highlighted, clicking this button will display the full Lesson Plan details in the main Lesson Plan window (9).

5. Delete Lesson Plan
This deletes the selected Lesson Plan permanently. Once a Lesson Plan is deleted, it cannot be restored. (Except if you have backups of your classroom data file.)

6. Edit Lesson Plan
After you have clicked the View Lesson Plan (4) from a selected plan, the plan will be displayed in the main Lesson Plan panel (9), and clicking this button will display the same window as the Add New Lesson Plan, but with all the existing fields for the Lesson Plan pre-populated.

7. Print Lesson Plan
When a Lesson Plan is displayed (4), clicking this button will display a Print Dialog which enables you to print your currently displayed Lesson Plan.

8. Schedule Reminder
When a Lesson Plan is displayed (4), clicking this button will bring up the Lesson Plan Scheduler. This creates a Lesson Plan Reminder on Gradeway Today.

9. Lesson Plan Display Panel
When viewing a Lesson Plan (4), the full details of the plan will be displayed here. Anything you may enter into this window will not be saved - to make changes to an existing Lesson Plan, use the "Edit Lesson Plan" button (6).
